The earrings are completed in our atelier in The Netherlands and finished with 18k gold plated 925 silver findings. Upon request, these earrings can be finished with Rose Gold or Silver findings, or Golden studs.

Actively supporting butterfly lives

Our butterflies live a full life and are collected after their natural passing in preservation farms worldwide. Eggs laid on leaves in the wild rain forrest are collected and hatched in the farms. About 5% of butterfly eggs survive to adulthood in the wild, whereas this number jumps to 80% in preservation farms. Butterflies are then released back into the wild and the cycle repeats.

Since butterflies live an average of 2-3 weeks some pass on before being released. Only these butterflies are acquired by Miccy’s Jewelz. All our species are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Organization. Through your purchase we support the butterfly preservation. This programme preserves butterflies and there existence in the rain forest!
